The Atlanta Madhatters are proud to announce the hiring of Jason Lindsay as Premier Head Coach and General Manager for the 2025-2026 season.
A native of the Detroit suburbs, Lindsay brings over 25 years of coaching experience across youth, junior, and collegiate hockey. His deep hockey background includes playing AAA for storied programs like Little Caesars and Michigan Nationals, as well as Junior A for the Metro Jets.
After hanging up his skates in 1991, Lindsay transitioned behind the bench and has been a force in player development ever since. His coaching journey began with Belle Tire and has taken him through highly respected programs such as Compuware, the Delaware Ducks, Philadelphia Jr. Flyers, Philadelphia Little Flyers, and most recently the Philadelphia Revolution U18 team in the THF. His resume includes leading roles at every age level and involvement with teams that have made 8 trips to nationals.
In addition to coaching, Lindsay is a USA Hockey Level 4 Coach and Level 4 Official, offering rare expertise in game management and rule interpretation. His track record of moving players to the USHL, NAHL, BCHL, NCAA (D1 & D3), ACHA, and pro levels is a testament to his leadership and mentorship.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Jason Lindsay to the Madhatters family,” said Madhatters’ President Joe Tarpy. “His experience, hockey IQ, and dedication to developing young athletes make him the ideal person to guide our Premier team into the 2025-26 season.”
With a decorated coaching history and a sharp eye for the game, Lindsay is ready to lead Atlanta to new heights.
