The Atlanta Madhatters Premier program is proud to announce that goaltender Noel Friedman has been tendered with the Colorado Grit of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the 2025-26 season.

Friedman, a 2005-born native of Denver, Colorado, joined the Madhatters this season and quickly made his presence felt between the pipes. In limited Premier action, he posted a 2.25 goals-against average and a stellar .937 save percentage, including one shutout in four starts. His poise and technical skill also earned him a call-up to the Pueblo Bulls (NCDC), where he continued to impress with a 1.54 GAA and .950 save percentage in 13 games.

Before arriving in Atlanta, Friedman developed with elite programs, including Northstar Christian Academy and Sioux Falls Power, showcasing consistency and growth at the 18U AAA level. His journey began in Denver with the Jr. Pioneers, and now comes full circle with his return to Colorado, set to take the next step in his career with the Grit.

“Noel has been a difference-maker for us from day one,” said Madhatters' Coach Niko Esposito-Selivanov. “Even in his short time with us, Noel’s work ethic and focus made a significant impact. We’re excited to see him earn this opportunity in the NAHL.”

The entire Madhatters organization congratulates Noel and wishes him continued success as he joins the Colorado Grit in the NAHL.
