The Atlanta Madhatters are proud to announce that forward Dominic Dager has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey at Illinois State University for the 2025-26 season.
A native of Clinton, Michigan, Dager brought a steady, veteran presence to the Madhatters this season. The 20-year-old forward appeared in 33 regular-season games, tallying 10 goals and 7 assists for 17 points, and added one playoff appearance. Known for his tenacity and hockey IQ, Dager’s leadership both on and off the ice made a strong impact in his lone season with Atlanta.
“Dominic came in and earned the respect of our room right away,” said Madhatters’ coach Niko Esposito Selivanov. “He plays the game the right way and competes every shift. Illinois State is getting a guy who’s going to contribute immediately.”
Dager developed through the FYHA and Indy Jr. Fuel programs before making his junior hockey debut with the Columbia Infantry in the USPHL Premier during the 2023-24 season. Over two years in the Premier, he compiled 41 points in 62 games.
The Madhatters congratulate Dominic on this exciting next chapter in his hockey journey!
