Onrii Dalgity Commits to Waldorf University for 2025-26 Season

The Atlanta Madhatters Elite are proud to announce that defenseman Onrii Dalgity has committed to Waldorf University, where he will continue his academic and hockey career at the ACHA Division II level for the 2025-2026 season.

A native of Brisbane, Australia, Dalgity has served as a key piece of the Madhatters' blue line during the 2024-25 season, captaining the Elite squad while contributing 15 points (7G, 8A) in 39 regular-season games. Known for his poise with the puck and physical presence, Dalgity also appeared in USPHL Premier action and has international experience with Australia’s U20 team.

Waldorf University Head Coach Sean Parker is thrilled to add Dalgity to the Warriors’ roster next season:

"We are really excited to have Onrii join our program and be a Warrior next year." Said Waldorf Head Coach Sean Parker. "Onrii is an offensive defenseman. Something that will add to our d-core. Being able to move the puck out of the defensive zone with either his skating or passing ability. We also look forward to having his offense on the power play. He isn't just an offensive player, with his size and knowledge of the defensive side of the game will be a plus for us."

At 6’0”, 187 lbs, and shooting right, Dalgity brings a well-rounded skillset that will translate well to the collegiate level. His journey from Australia to Atlanta and now to Waldorf reflects his dedication and passion for the game.
