December Stretch Tests The Madhatters Before Break

The Atlanta Madhatters closed out a busy stretch in December with four games against tough Atlantic Division opponents. Facing Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Red Bank twice, and the PAL Jr. Islanders, Atlanta saw a mix of close finishes and high-scoring games as the group continued to build through the heart of the season.
December 9, 2025
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 6, Atlanta Madhatters 3
PNY Sports Arena – West Chester, PA
The Madhatters hosted the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights in a mid-day matchup at PNY Sports Arena but came up short in a 6–3 decision. Atlanta received goals from Vincent Lattarulo, Alexei Spence, and Vincent Lattarulo again later in the game, while Wilkes-Barre built a lead with goals in all three periods. Atlanta finished with 37 shots on goal, but the Knights were able to capitalize on their chances to secure the road win.
November 30, 2025
Atlanta Madhatters 4, Red Bank Generals 3 (OT)
PNY Sports Arena – West Chester, PA
Atlanta earned an overtime victory over Red Bank in a tightly contested matchup at home. The Madhatters scored three times through regulation before Tyler Mason netted the game-winner 1:41 into overtime to seal the 4–3 win. Goals in regulation came from Ethan Finlay, Vincent Lattarulo, and Marek Klos as Atlanta matched Red Bank shift for shift before closing it out in extra time.
December 14, 2025
PAL Jr. Islanders 8, Atlanta Madhatters 4
The Rinx at Hauppauge – Hauppauge, NY
Atlanta traveled to Long Island to take on the PAL Jr. Islanders and fell 8–4 in a high-scoring contest. The Madhatters received goals from Roman Barnes on the power play, Gage Kraus with two tallies, and Marek Klos, but PAL pulled away with multiple goals in each period. Atlanta generated 24 shots in the game, while the Islanders capitalized consistently at even strength and on special teams.
December 21, 2025
Red Bank Generals 5, Atlanta Madhatters 4 (SO)
Red Bank Armory – Red Bank, NJ
In their final game before the break, the Madhatters pushed Red Bank to a shootout but came up just short in a 5–4 loss. Atlanta goals came from Ethan Finlay, William Schaeffer, Vincent Lattarulo, and Tyler Mason as the teams traded momentum throughout regulation and overtime. After a scoreless extra frame, the Generals converted in the shootout to earn the additional point at home.
The Madhatters will now break for the Christmas holiday before returning to action on January 9, when they hit the road to take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights to open the new year.
