The Atlanta Madhatters Elite return to home ice on January 21 as they take on the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights in a key Atlantic Division matchup at PNY Sports Arena. Puck drop is set for 1:00 PM, with the game streaming live on Black Bear TV.
Atlanta enters the game riding momentum after a strong 7–5 home win over the Red Bank Generals on January 16. The Generals currently sit fourth in the Atlantic, making it a statement performance for the Hatters. Ethan Finlay led the way with a dominant five-goal outing, and he’ll be the player to watch once again as Atlanta looks to keep its offense rolling.
Head Coach Jason Lindsay liked the response from his group in that win and emphasized consistency going forward.
“That was a big team effort for us,” Lindsay said. “Ethan had a special night, but our group competed hard and played with pace. The challenge now is bringing that same mindset every game.”
The Knights arrive in West Chester with confidence of their own after a two-game sweep of the PAL Junior Islanders, winning 6–1 and 4–3 in overtime. Forward Francis Gauvin was a key contributor, recording a hat trick in the opener before adding another goal in the OT win.
With both teams coming off productive weekends, Wednesday’s matchup sets up as a fast-paced contest between two clubs looking to climb the Atlantic standings. Atlanta will aim to defend home ice and build off its recent success, while Wilkes-Barre looks to keep its momentum alive.
