Three Stops, One Focus: Madhatters Take on Rangers Twice, Generals Once

The Atlanta Madhatters head into a busy three-game stretch this week, facing the Connecticut Junior Rangers twice before closing the series on the road against the Red Bank Generals. The run begins Tuesday morning in Connecticut, shifts back to PNY Sports Arena on Wednesday, and wraps up Saturday night at the Red Bank Armory.

Atlanta is coming off an 8–4 loss to the Hershey Cubs and will be looking to tighten up defensively and find consistency across all three games. The Rangers enter the series following a narrow 4–3 loss to the Elmira Impact, while the Generals are coming off a 1–0 win over the Potomac Patriots and continue to play tight, low-scoring hockey.

Offensively, the Madhatters will lean on their top contributors as of January 26. Ethan Finlay leads the way with 13 goals and 9 assists in 27 games, followed closely by Vincent Lattarulo with 10 goals and 8 assists in 27 games. Marek Klos has also been productive, posting 8 goals and 9 assists through 28 games. In net, Foster Lavallee has appeared in 16 games this season, carrying a .892 save percentage as he continues to handle a heavy workload.

Head Coach Jason Lindsay emphasized the importance of focus during a condensed stretch of games. “We’ve got three games in a short window, and it’s about managing details and competing the right way,” Lindsay said. “If we stay disciplined and play to our structure, we’ll give ourselves a chance every night.”

The series opens Tuesday morning at Chelsea Piers, followed by a home matchup Wednesday afternoon at PNY Sports Arena, before the Hatters hit the road Friday night to take on the Generals.
